Democratic Business Network
The Democratic Women's Club of Bay County (DWCBC) actively works to support Democratic business owners throughout Bay County through our Democratic Business Network. Through the Democratic Business Network we provide the opportunity for local businesses who are Democrats to network with each other and to let local Democrats know you are here.
What is the Democratic Business Network?
- An opportunity for local Democratic business owners to meet, learn about each other, and strengthen Democratic relationships.
- An internal mechanism to encourage fellow Democrats to support Democratic businesses throughout Bay County.
- An opportunity to allow local Democratic business owners to invest in Democratic "social" capital. People do business with other people that they know, like, and trust.
- An opportunity for local Democratic business owners to build and strengthen a Democratic business presence in Bay County by letting each other know that you are here, and driving business through your doors.
- An opportunity to allow local Democratic business owners to have fun while networking and to encourage fellow Democrats to support Democratic businesses.
Are you a Democrat and a local business owner and interested in our Network? Join the Democratic Business Network!
- We meet once a month for fellowship and to strengthen Democratic relationships.
- During the meeting, each business represented has the opportunity to introduce themselves and give a 1-2 minute elevator speech about their business.
- We exchange business cards.
- During the meeting, one business (on a rotating basis) has the opportunity to give a 10 minute presentation about their business, giving us insight on what they offer so that we will know what type of referrals to make to them.
- We keep everything about this internal, "Democrats Only." The DWCBC never publishes the list of businesses in the Democratic Business Network.
- We build trust, provide referrals, but most of all-we have fun!
